Welcome to my site! I am photographer and make up artist currently based in Winnipeg,Manitoba. Thank you for taking a tour of my work :)

I began taking photos at age 11 when I got my first camera for Christmas. Most of the photos were of my sister, my only willing subject at the time. After high school I went on to University where I majored in photography, with a minor in video. My thesis in 5th year was based on human sexuality and as a result I took a lot of self portraits. Other girls I knew saw the photos and wanted me to take pictures like that of them! That began my foray into photographing models and various other beautiful women.

I have also been a musician since age 8 when I learned to play guitar, violin and later bass guitar as well. It seemed natural for me to be in a band but what I really loved was taking photos of other bands. I really loved the energy in the small clubs I shot in. They were dirty and dark, with the floor was covered in beer, and the bands were about the same.

The best part about what I do is “freezing the fire” or capturing that moment in time that will never, ever happen again. Just great moments in music whether I am shooting a rock legend or a local band that is just starting out.

Nowadays I shoot mostly bands, models, and basically any type of portraiture. I have travelled in Europe, Canada and the U.S. shooting various bands and I love it! It gets me out of bed in the morning.

I believe I have a special relationship with the musicians I shoot. I freelance, so when I shoot the band it is for them. I love it when they see the photos I shoot of them and get excited…since my background is in art you see more than your typical “rock” shots in my portfolio.

I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a B.F.A. Honours, and I am also a make-up artist. I love to photograph people and make them feel beautiful! I live to take photos and I think it shows. Check out my portfolio and see for yourself!
